Foundational Ideals

The fundamental goal of the establishment of The Catholic University Songsin Theological Campus is to educate those who seek to reach for the lofty idea, the priesthood, for various areas such as academic, pastoral and spiritual formation, so that they would be able to meet what the holy priestly ministries requires. We also seek to raise talented workers in the church by providing lay and religious with profound Catholic thoughts and theological education so that they dedicate their lives in the real life to enhancing the wellbeing of our nation and of the whole human society.

For this purpose our school tried not only to preserve great educational principles which have been acknowledged and highly admired in the Catholic tradition but also utilize new academic methods and perspectives which this new era demands. Therefore, we seek to help all the members of the school reach spiritual maturity with natural talents and virtues and obtain the perfection of Christian life.
