  1. To point out to those men who hope for and aspire to the lofty ambition of Catholic priesthood the various necessary requirements, and to help them to meet these demands. The foundations of this education are both apostolic and spiritual
  2. In addition to training candidates for the priesthood, the Institution promotes a practical application of Catholic Theology, contributing to an improved understanding of the Church's position on human social welfare issues
  3. In order to reach the goals set forth by the School of Theology, recognition must be given to the past and to the tradition up on which the school was founded, a tradition which relied on good, fundamental principles. At the same time, the School of Theology wants to continually renew itself in order to meet the demands made by the changing times and the changing ways of thinking. The formation which this Institute offers fosters the maturing of the Seminarian and relies on the natural endowment of human virtue which all men possess. It seeks to perfect them in their Christian life
